Crikey, as usual you provide me with a chuckle!!! It was only through your answer that I worked out what a "pagage" was ! Does no one consider contacting the person they are trading with when they have an issue???

You will need to show to Australia Post how the package came and make a report. The seller should also have a receipt which shows the weight of the item sent to you. See what the seller says for you to do

No it has never happened to me, hwoever there are times when nothing would have been equivalent to the standard of the item inside lol.
I agree I would contact the Seller, it could just be an embarrassing oversight on their part.
Kind of puts a whole new slant on SNAD lol !!!!
Good luck I am sure you will be able to sort this one out.

Not happened to me but have followed cases on te boards,
Was the package damaged or torn?
If yes take it to the PO and ask if they will accept responsibility. This is unlkely as they usually tape up damaged packages if they discover the damage. If they won't accept the responsibility you need to contact the seller as AP have judged the packaging to noot be up to standard and that makes it the seller's responsibility.
If the seller will not accept responsibility yu will have to open a dispute with Paypal, from memory there is an option especially for items missing from the parcel.
If the seller still refuses to accept responsibility you may have to bring out the big guns, call Paypal and tell them you are prepared to sign a Stat Dec to confirm the parcel was empty, they may give in after that but the likelihood is that they will require you to report it to the police as theft and get a crime number.
With any luck someone who has gone through the same thing will be along with more info.
