Dear All,

Member name: <Removed>

I bought an item and paid through paypal on 24th of September. Despite of my repeated requests, he didn't posted item till 29th and posted a false tracking number on ebay. When after two week I still didn't received my itme and contacted seller, he accused Auspost for sending it to the wrong destination. And promised that it should reach within another week. Still didn't received my item and raised a dispute in paypal. Seller still continued to provide wrong information and fight back for the disputed transaction. A week later thankfully paypal refunded my transaction. But today I just checked for the tracking number he provided me initially with auspost, I was informed that eparce wasn't meant for me at the first place. This means that he had provided all together false information tight from the beginning and painfully kept me waiting for a product that I ordered a month ago. Further, not at any stage he was empathic or courteous towards me on not receiving my item. I have shopped through ebay Australia for about 4 years now but this was the worst ever experience. I have never left any negative feedback for any seller up till now.

Please do youself a favour and don't buy through this seller.

You were not defrauded, you were refunded and any buyer who takes ebay and Paypal's advice will be covered and will get their money back. You did the right thing but don't expect a scammer to be empathetic or curteous. I would not have purchased from a high volume seller with a feedback score of less than 99.5% especially when there are revised feedbacks to add to those who did not have a happy experience.

Out of 15 transactions you've only ever left 3 feedbacks in total and 2 of them are negatives. Smiley Indifferent

OP, you will find that the sellers name will soon be deleted from your post as it's against the rules to name and shame on the discussion boards. You can however post an item number associated with the issue.

From looking through their feedback I don't think the seller has sought to defraud you, that doesn't mean they weren't at fault and didn't make mistakes though, or that they dealt with the problem satisfactorily, so you do have reason to be dissatisfied with them imo.

It appears that the seller has recently had some type of breakdown in their shipping processes, as there have been a few similar incidents lately of the item not arriving or arriving late and incorrect tracking numbers being given to buyers. Prior to that their service appears to have been quite decent & reliable, so hopefully for their own sakes & that of their customers they can fix whatever has been going amiss of late (it might be as simple as their having recently assinged those duties to a different staff member not familiar with it, only the seller knows).
