Depends on perception, I suppose. The few I have are all auto-accept. That way I can't be tempted to take a ridiculous (to me) offer.

If a buyer includes any terms, auto-accept/decline doesn't work.

Yes I have same problems sellers only reduce by $1.00 or I have put 3 offers in on some thing and seller has not replyed to any so makes me wonder should I buy from them and they dont answer the messages either

It could be because they had reduced their selling price to their best price.
I have a few listings with buy it now that I have done that - reduced my sell price, but ebay will not let me remove the make offer option since I have had a few sales on that item...
If I am wrong ... be great if someone can show me to remove it - as I have only been able to remove it on items that have had 0 sales.

kutatrader666... $1 off.. on a 10$ item is 10% off...
really depends on the item.. or initial price.
Sometimes I will accept say $1 off, other times I will not - depends how the week has been - like retail stores.. if quite day.. you maybe more than happy to discount to get any sale.. other days you are busy or have limited stock (ebay stock level may not be accurate...) you may not do a better price.
One time I had some offer a really low price on a item for 2pcs of the tiem, I counted offered with 5pcs at that price they requested.. and the customer accepted... i said "I can only do your asking pricing for minimum of x qty..."

That could be the reason and I will take that into consideration next time.
