non arrival of goods.

What is procedure for non arrival of goods?  Paid $1000 for camera PAYPAL.  No response from seller to my request for confirmation of shipping.  I was thanked for early payment and a promise to post 5 days ago.

I would wait another few days. The auction finished on 26/9 and according to the listing the handling time is

"Will usually post within 5 business days of receiving cleared payment".

Today will be 5 business days since the sale.

BUT, whatever you do, if you haven't received your item by about Day 40, (you get 45 days) DO NOT let the seller string you along and fob you off - open a PayPal dispute for Item Not Received. You will have very few options if you go past the 45 days.

I'm sure it will turn up soon though and the above won't need to be a consideration.

i give the seller about 2 weeks as i think thats enough time and then open a dispute

I don't know what type of camera it is but if it contains a lithium battery it should be sent road only so could take at a fair amount of time if it is coming from one side of the continent to the oter.

I would allow 15 working days if it is domestic and 20 if it is coming from overseas. I hope it is domestic if it has a lithium battery! If you have to oen a dispute you can allow another week for it to arrive if the seller has been in contact but you must escalate within to a claim within 20 days.
