Hi

Just wondering can a seller help me with a queiry? I got 10 kg of plants[ from SA to Sydney] that were listed as being sent Express post.

I paid $50 post for them( 2x 5kg  bags) but when they arrived they were in the standard red satchel with priority post written on it.

What is the difference in cost I was trying to check the Aust post site and it looks like its a vast diffrence between the 2 prices.

I can see this seller getting in trouble in time as it looks a bit confusing they are saying express post in top of listing but at bottom says ask for express post if wanted .

Im realy just curious as the price was very good even with post so I gave pos and marked down stars for post cost

A standard, unregistered Aus Post 5kg satchel is $14.50 (registered is an additional $3.20 per parcel), an express 5kg satchel is $21.65.

I don't really know much about packaging and posting plants - was the service (i.e. delivery time) actually express and/or was 'priority' just handwritten on the package without no bearing on the service used?

A number of things are possibe as to any discrepancies between postage & handling charged, and postage paid by the seller to Aus Post, or whatever carrier they use, because of that, the only other thing I will say is that if you have a genuine complaint about the discrepancy, I recommend that you contact the seller and let them know about it before leaving feedback - if their response is unsatisfactory, by all means leave the feedback you feel is appropriate.

That was supposed to say "with no bearing on the service used". :_|

Hi not sure but i recently brough 16 Big Leighton Green  tubes stock.

These would easily come to around 5kg including packagaing which was perfect and obviously the seller went to great lengths to ensure healthy plants and i paid $14 postage for them.
