i recieved a paypal reciept for an item i didnt puchase. is this a new scam? the email was dated the 16th of october from paypal.

Probably is a scam so don't click on any links.

Log in directly to paypal.com.au and see if there is any activity that needs reporting.

Delete the email if non genuine.

If you have clicked on links and signed in, you need to change your password.

Yes me too! Good motto - If in doubt send it to spoof@paypal.com They always write back pretty quickly.
