Iโm really with padi on this. It boggles the mind to think that anyone in Australia would be buying from a seller in Russia at this point.
The logistics of it at the very least must have given you pause.

eBay has blocked the seller, so can't contact and can't apply for action via 'view order details', trying to talk to a human being at eBay is impossible! Since it only occurred because of eBay's action they should refund. The sanction by eBay has only benefited the Russian seller and left me out of pocket.

Worldwide sanctions against Russia have been in place for close to 6 months now, I have to wonder why you would buy from a Russian seller in the first place.
Good luck with getting your money back, eBay might give you a discretionary refund, but it will be an uphill battle for you.

I purchased just before the war started, a month in fact but still no items! And zero response from ebay or seller!

The items were purchased before any sanctions, before the war ( a month) so I have a fair complaint!

Total waste of time, they could not grasp the concept, easier communicating with a lump of wood.
