Sid, if you have already bought the item or there's less than 12 hrs to go on the auction, go to the bottom of the listing desciption, and you'll see "ask a question" in blue.
Click on that then ask the seller for a mutual cancellation, and maybe offer to pay any fees they've incurred.
If there's more than 12 hrs to go you can cancel your own bid, but you'll have to lie as there's only a few reasons to retract and change of mind isn't one of them.
