security concern

I tried to pay using paypal but was told to change payment method.

Then I noticed that the address it would be posted to was in Moscow (not my address).

I think that they want my credit card details.

What can I do?

It seems I am unable to buy on Ebay at the moment.

Don't do anything on eBay as it looks like your account has been hijacked and you could receive a heap of

spall mail as well as you've posted your Email address on an open forum,(I've reported it to a moderator to be

removed).

Watch out for spoof or phishing emails you may get, as a precaution ,run all your spy ware and virus

protection and change your passwords and don't do anything financial until you know your system is clean.

Give eBay a call

This gives you their direct links without having to go through their rigmarole:

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home ,Just keep in mind that the Call option is only available during business

hours,(8 am to 9 pm Mon to Fri and 8 am to 5 pm on Sat and Sun).

Have us call you seems to be the best option.

Just scroll to the bottom of that page.

Your Paypal account should have the secure lock bar:

PP account..JPG

If you can log into that account securely then there is a contact option down the bottom of the page.

If not their toll free number is: 1800-073-263

Also watch out for other Paypal scams:

Quick action by the moderator might've just saved you a bit more grief,(don't ever post any type of personnel

information on a public discussion board).

It's the sort of thing spammers and scammers look for,stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

Next time before you post a screen grab make certain you edit/block any personnel information like your

Emai. address,(most photo apps have a draw component that you can use to block that info),good.gif
