I'm almost certain that a seller who I bought something from added me to a spam email list.
I hadn't had any spam emails in a while, and soon after buying this item, I was then receiving spam, which was also very different to any spam emails I had received before.
Is there a way to open a complaint with ebay? I don't think just leaving negative feedback is enough for what has happened, and it seems like its harder to find an option to open a compaint through ebay now (compared to years ago).

It seems unlikely, and without proof it would be very unfair to either leave that in feedback, or to make a complaint with Ebay.

They do this.
UNSUBSCRIBE - in the email & delete what you have.

OP - check that you have not inadvertantly ticked the box that agrees to receiving 'promotions' from this seller.
It is very unusual for any admail to be generated from a seller on eBay without permission.

This isn't like other times I have received emails from just the one seller (I've had that before and its not a problem). This is getting emails from more than one email address, and the names are completely unrelated to each other.

I agree with harley.....you cannot give feedback for something you think the seller might have done. You need proof before you start making accusations or the seller could have your feedback removed.

In the last day or two I have had some spam coming into my hotmail address - this hasn't happened for a while - something has definitely changed (I have to blame hotmail/microsoft) & I have not purchased anything.
