I bought a coat from a seller, whom listed postage as standard postage $11.50, coat arrived squashed into a 500 gram pre paid bag cost, $6.80 I sent her an email, and asked if the over charge of $4.70 was fair, she said yes as it was in her listing.
read her reply to me below

KOALA***********IN CAPS******* lol
I just got all excited when you mentioned " the new C&S boxes"
and thought they may have introduced a couple of new sizes
I dashed away from the thread to check it out - and there are still only 3 sizes, unless I'm looking in the wrong place
A robust thread with diverse points of view but I'm glad summer is on the way

As to whether the dress was worth $500 or not, whether the dress was crushed or not, are “red herrings” in this argument
.
The seller, on the auction page, clearly states:
.
AU $11.50 AusPost PrePaid Parcel Post Satchels 3kg
.
The seller did not honour this
.
We all make mistakes, but to add insult to injury, they neither apologised, nor refunded the buyer
.
Refusing to rectify their “mistake”
.
In my opinion, the seller deserved the neg
.
And the OP was wrong to revise their feedback
I agree. The buyer fulfilled her side of the transaction by paying and expecting her garment to arrive in a 3kg satchel AS LISTED.
If the seller had been more accomodating, or better still admitted that they had made a mistake and offered to refund the difference, then I am sure the buyer would not have left a (justifiable) negative.

I really admire someone who can take on board comments and constructive criticism and maybe have a bit of a re-think.
You have my admiration. (not that I imagine you care!)
But well done. An injustice righted - and your feedback now appropriately reflects the situation in my opinion.
Shouldn't that be as long as you agree with MY opinion, than you are an admirable person.
I would hardly call it an injustice - the seller DELIBERATELY sent it in a 500g satchel - if she had to struggle to cram it into the satchel then common sense would say well I better send it in the satchel I was supposed to and what the buyer actually paid me for to do ?:|

I hope you are joking !!!!!!!!!! 🙂
Or do you really think that would make the transaction positive?

hmmm and the sellers morals are... non exsistant!

Do you always fly off the handle at people like that? I didn't say that it would make the transaction positive, I was merely correcting someone who said that the seller hadn't offered a refund, when they had..

The seller did not apologise or offer to refund the difference between postage they charged and the actual cost. I thought the seller's response was very rude, obviously they did not expect the buyer to send the coat back. And I think it is a great shame that people here jump all over buyer who dares to leave honest FB. It devalues my 100% positive, never to have had NEG in all those many years selling on eBay.

dry cleaned and picked up today cost me $18.50
I am truly amazed by some of the comments, but I am
completley gob smacked by getting added to a blocked bidder list.
seems I have hit a nerve or 2.
