suspected dodgy seller

Ok so here is my situation.

i ordered an item from china from a seller, the item cost me around $180 all up. the seller had 100% positive feedback.

3 weeks later i have not recieved the item and tracking seems to think it is lost in america somewhere?

i went back to ebay to contact the seller and he is no longer a member and now has another negative feedback for item not recieved.

i proceded to check his old positive feedbacks and there were only ever 12 items sold all valued at around 20c, rings.

now i thought this was suspicous so i quickly scanned through for similar items also with no reserve like the one i purchased sure enough there was 1 so i checked it out. the seller signed up at the same time as the seller i bought mine from and has you guessed it 12 positive feedbacks for items around 20c each, rings to be exact. just enough to look like good postive seller.

now my fear is that some one else is going to buy the product he has listed and hes just going to drop off ebay and leave another customer ripped off.

i cant contact ebay because there email thing isnt working, can anyone help me report this possible scammer?

If the seller is no longer registered there is nothing you can do....ebay has already done it.

If he has started another ID there is not much you can do unless you are positive....then you can report him to ebay as you are not allowed to start another ID if you are suspended.

im convinced enough that this is the same guy.

12 20c rings sold to get up 100% positive feedbakc then all of a sudden he has a bunch of items for auctionall with high values that all end on the same day.

he even opened this account on the same day that he opened the old account.

its too much coincidence. i will be reporting this guy at least this way ebay can look into it and perhaps save some other people from the same trap.

i just cant contact ebay, thats the problem im having

Ring eBay rather than emailing, it is much easier to get your message across on the phone rather than in an email. You will have to wait until tomorrow though.

As all the others have suggested PLUS open an Item Not Received dispute ASAP.

This is a common scam that has been on going and started by Chinese scammers,(there can also be scammers from

Malaysia and the Philippines involved).

This looks like they are testing to see which products they can possibly "sell".

Last time there was over 150 different ID's involved.

The other option is to try Live Help and ask them to pass it on to Trust & Safety:  Live Help

Yes tazz of course its a scam, but that doesnt help the OP with his non received item. OP dont blow your deadline for a dispute.

And has been advised already that the item ain't comin' and to open a dispute.
