unpaid item dispute

I have received a notice of unpaid item dispute - says I must take action

I received an email from eBay saying that an unpaid item case has been opened for an item I purchase...

If you buy an item and the seller doesn't receive payment within 4 days, eBay may open an unpaid item case. If you don't respond within 4 days, after the case is opened, the unpaid item may be recorded on your account.

I want to respond because I did pay, by bank deposit as requested, but there is no option to respond, only to pay now.

What do I do?

If you have paid by bank deposit, contact the seller & let them know. The seller will be able to close the dispute once they've received your payment. Sometimes bank deposit can take a few days to show in an account. The seller might not realize you've paid.

Once you pay by bank deposit then you need to mark payment sent in your purchases so then the seller can then check their account once its been processed.

This is easily avoided by using Paypal, if you pay using that then the seller is unable to open a dispute for non payment.
