this must have been something that has been very very recent, i have just purchased a new laptop that has a bluray on it, so i went looking for a cheap bluray movie so i could try out my new laptop.
I listed a whole heap of cheap ones on my watch list that i might buy depending on the final auction price. Then a couple of days after i went searching again, and doing exactly what is described , going to movies then dvd's then blu ray , i come up with a very short list and none of the ones i have on my watch list appear in the new list but they are still active auctions.
I have gone to blu ray and clicked Australia only, and auction only , then been presented with a list that has 7 blu ray movies in it, when the first time i searched there were 100's if not 1000's
Very confusing

Coops the problem is right there, look at the number for "Not Specified", 2,619 equals most of those listed.

Those are the sellers who are too lazy to nominate what the product is. So they are not categorising it properly - obviously don't want to sell their stuff.
Why do you think that they would put their items in the correct category anyway, if they don't do it now?

I think that they must be trying to organize the movie section. I just tried then clicked movies, then dvd and blu ray movies, then clicked blu ray and 16,030 blu ray movies came up.
But then i clicked Australia Only , and Auction Only and 6 movies came up
And the blu ray movies i had found before and put on my watch list from a blu ray search on tuesday still dont show up on the list.

Coops I was trying to point out why the OP had problems with seeing all the blu-ray movies listed.
I wish it was compulsory for every seller to have certain fields filled in fully.
"Not Specified" = Time Wasters.

Yes, the category has just changed this week so it will probably take a while before the sellers update their listings.

I absolutely 100% agree. I cannot understand why sellers don't fill in Item Specifics, they are probably THE most important thing on eBay (much more important that the Item Title) in allowing buyers to find your stuff.
Ebay is making more and more Item Specifics mandatory, as well as Item Condition and other stuff too. This makes things sell better, so I cannot work out why sellers begrudge it.
