you know when you joined up to PayPal? Well you know how you ticked a little box acknowledging that you had read the terms and conditions? Guess what, you just outed yourself for having told a lie..... it's written in the terms and conditions.

Not only in the terms and conditions but on every transaction page as well as the payment confirmation email.
Sorry but the buck stops squarely in the OP's wallet.

well that's not entirely true PJ, the buck didn't stop in the OP's wallet cos they told a few porkies and then failed to read any of the plethora of information that they are given and have access to. So in the absence of taking any proactive actions that would have cost nothing, the buyer has chosen to pay for this very important information.
I know that people get caught out with this all the time, but they usually just say "**bleep**, I didn't know". at least they don't disregard the fact that they had been told and had access to all sorts of information and accept the responsibility for their actions - but to say "why wasn't I told"..... that annoys me...
