why won't ebay let us give feedback on orders cancelled by seller?

It seems that if a seller cancels your order that there is no way to post feedback for that transaction????  This is not right.  Unreliable sellers are getting away with carelessness - either listing items that they don't have & after you've gone to the trouble of buying the item, then turn around & simply cancel the order -yes refund your mnoey..... this is such a hassle & we should be allowed to post feeback.  ....Or when your item doesn't arrive & seller cancels your order we should be able to provide feedback.

Cancelled orders, feedback can still be left. (Unless cancelled very soon after ending as I understand it)

Or if eBay remove a listing for a violation, feedback can't be left.

Unpaid item case closed, feedback can't be left.

I recently had 2 cancelled orders soon after I paid. In both cases with no explanation till I asked, which was poor selling tactics. Then gve really bad excuses, I believe in both cases someone else saw the items and said they would pay more. One seller did admit they sold it elsewhere next day, another that they lost it a few hours after I paid. They could not look for it as it fell out of their bag?? and in both cases I was able to leave negative feedback that I believe was justified in both cases

  The cancelled items do disappear from your buying list for some reason, but if you go into your own feedback ratings, then at the bottom of that page where it says leave more feedback, use that link and you will find the cancelled items to leave feedback for them.
