Selling handmade items

Hi I've recently started making jewellery for sale and only taken orders over the last fortnight. Well today is pick up day and as I wait for people to pick up items I've made , I'm a bundle of nerves . This is the first time I've ever asked money for anything I've made.
Last night I didn't sleep a wink and this morning I've felt sick with worry. I have about 10 due to come to my house today and I'm meeting more at another location this afternoon. I'm so worried they won't like what I've made or I will stuff up an order somehow. I've been selling stuff for years, but it has always been stuff someone else has made or collectible items. Making gifts for Mother's Day is so much more daunting. How do u deal with the stress and nerves when selling handmade items. When I first took the orders I was so excited someone wanted something I made and now I'm a bundle of nerves.

Actually really well, I had one lady tag me in a pic of the item off fb . everyone seemed  to like it and others were saying they were either going to get more or had spoken to someone who wanted one. Only had one lady day she thought hers looked bigger than the picture but she still liked it. I'm waiting on more stuff so I can fill more orders , so I guess Id better find a way to get used to all these nerves. I'm sure the day will come too when someone wont like what I've done , so I guess I will have to cross that bridge wen I come to it.

It is a daunting world out there sometimes for the seller of handmade goods, and yes there is always someone out there who will be disappointed with the item they receive, but as long as you have correct dimensions, accurate photos and descriptions and your work is good, all you can do is move onward and upward.

Best of luck with your items!
