There is no protection for buyers that pay with bank dep.
paypal would give the protection to get your money back if you open a dispute within 45 days of payment.
If the seller is not responding tell them to refund your money (and send your bank details) or the items be received within 7 days or you will go to the police.
You can get their phone number here http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch?_sofindtype=9
You wil be sent an email as will the seller with the details.
You can call them and see what they say.
If the number is not valid then report them to ebay for false contact details.

unfortunately buying/paying without any free money back insurance as offered by Paypal has it's distinct disadvantages as you will findout if your item does not arrive.
14 days may be a bit too soon to panic. What did the seller have listed as handling time? some sellers only go to the Post Office once a week and if the parcel has to travel a long distance in Aust it may take more than 10 days
also check at your local PO maybe the postie left the parcel there for you to collect and forgot to leave you a card.

Your first step is to try and retrieve their personal details such as their number through eBay, in which you request for their phone numbers. Obviously, by doing so, they will also be sent an email of YOUR personal details as well. This usually alerts the seller when they receive the email that you have tried to directly contact them.
If this method does not work, you can then file a chargeback through your bank, although I have not tried before, you probably should start by calling up.
All the best. Next time, please use Paypal even if you are not purchasing from eBay because I have managed to get money refunded to me on items that I never received.

NO you cannot do a 'chargeback' thru the bank for a direct deposit. a chargeback can be initiated thru a payment made using a credit card. but, if you deposit cash into a strangers bank account there is no way to get it back again.

I have had experience when buying items from over seas sellers it can take up to a month before getting my order.
Some mail gets delayed in customs and can sit there waiting to be checked for up to 2 weeks. Are you buying from a local seller or from someone in another country?
If you are very worried about your item not arriving send ebay a report saying you have not received your order. Keep sending messages to the seller and also leave bad feedback comments on their ebay page so other customers can be warned. .
You can also obtain the sellers name and phone number from ebay and with that give them a ring on the phone and ask them why there is a long delay in you getting your ebay order. I hope it all works out for you, good luck ๐

Please do not buy ANYTHING from this seller jiajian.lin!!! dodgy as! I bought a coat that was a size too big and was advised that I could receive it for a full refund. I have never received my money and they kept the coat

Don't leave it too late before you report the item not received.
I waited & waited because the seller begged me to, with excuses about shipping delays. They promised a refund - even said they had refunded & gave a Pay Pal number - but the money never came to me...and the item never arrived.
SELLER: 99lxl88 still has items for sale on Ebay.
