Antique jugs - Query about British diamond pattern registration mark & absent backstamps.

I have three matching jugs of different sizes decorated with classical roman scenes. They do not have a maker''s backstamp but have the British Diamond pattern registration mark for 1857.  I would be pleased to receive advice on why no backstamps on such  attractive jugs. How can one find out  what maker registered the pattern  ? ( Registered 22 October 1857, bundle  1 ( or I ?)

suggests the only way to identify individual patent holders is to contact the Public Record Office. I would assume there would be a fee payable for any service. I would guess the decoration is taken from a popular painting, engraving or cartoon  - neoclassical French Revolution / French Empire? If someone knowledgeable can identify the source of the decoration, a Google search may help identify potteries which used it.
