Artcraft kerosene lamp -need information

I have this very vintage looking kerosene lamp. From the appearance it looks like it's meant to hang on a wall or post through a nail or hook. The knob says Artcraft Made In Australia. The part that hangs on the wall has embossed label British Made then below that a V enclosed in cloverleaf shape/. Height is 24cm, width 12cm, circumference of base around 29cm. It is a solid metal with no openings anywhere, save the top of the part where the wick is located.

Any information regarding this item - origin, value, etc. much appreciated. Thanks.

From   http://www.theoillampstore.com/Oil_Lamp_F_A_Q_Page.html

"Q: There is a large letter V inside a clover leaf stamped into the base of my oil lamp. Do you know what this stands for?

A: The large letter V inside a clover leaf โ€“ or trefoil โ€“ is the trademark of what turned out to be about the biggest oil lamp empire there has ever been. Veritas started out in the 1880s as Falk, Stadelmann & Co. and proceeded to absorb just about every oil lamp manufacturer of note into their conglomerate. They eventually owned names such as Wright & Butler, Thomas Rowatt & Sons, James Hinks & Son, Palmer & co. etc. etc. They started to fade in the late 1960s and were bought out. All that remains now are two small companies โ€“ an electric light importing business in Dublin, Ireland, and Falks Veritas in the island of Malta who make incandescent mantles."

There are quite a few Artcraft lamps listed on eBay, especially in the Completed listings. I would say a wall-mounted kero lamp - these would have been used (and therefore made) probably at least until the end of WW2, maybe 1960's. We used very similar items in rural cottages without electricity when I was a child.

Any idea how much it is worth, if I were to sell it on Ebay?

I would guess $20 or thereabouts; a bit more if you had the shade. But that's only my guess, going on completed eBay sales.
