Help! Have been trying to identify this plate for years!

Hi all, I have been trying to identify this plate for years but have been unsuccessful! It has a chip which shows a pottery/clay type of product underneath. I have attached a photo and would be so grateful for any help. Thanks..Trish

I just looked at your plate again on the back looks like a impressed mark -  can u see a name or anything or is it nothing ?

If it too small to read  even with a loupe .. rub some vegemite over it and see if u can make anything out.

But if its only the light shining on the back and I'm mistaken and no mark.. Back where we / you started.
