Help with mystery pottery, please

Hello everyone.

Any clues as to the maker of this very nice little drip glaze pot? Stamped 3389, I think, then an incised name of some sort. thanks for any help.

Pot is between 6 and 7 cm across the base, flares out a little and is 6 -7 cm tall.

I'm thinking it may be German?

Oh, one I know ๐Ÿ™‚ It actually says Soholm Denmark Stentig (which just means stoneware.)

Quite collectable. Looks very attractive.

Ya beat me to it. ๐Ÿ™‚

In very old Sรธholm pieces (around 1835 to 1878) the name will be marked Sรถholm. The company was founded in 1835 at Rรธnne, the principal town of Bornholm, a Danish island off the south coast of Sweden, and the name should not be confused with the town in Frederiksborg some twenty miles north of Copenhagen.

The Wolffsen family ran the pottery from 1878 into the first decade of the twentieth century and pieces from that period are often marked with the names H Wolffsen or Chr. L Wolffsen. From around 1910 to 1930 management was in the hands of Carl Mรธller. The use of earthenware was introduced after 1930 as an alternative to stoneware.

Noomi Backhausen was a designer for Sรธholm from 1966 to 1990 and set up her own pottery in Rรธnne in 1996.

I was going to say Swedish or Danish from the writing so my thought was on the money. ๐Ÿ˜‰
