Identification of Medallion / Pendant please

Hi, just womdering if anyone can give me any information regarding these 2 medallions / pendants.

They both say "Australia Greets USA" 

1 has colour, the other has not.

Just wondering about a date and value and anyother information you can provide.  Thankyou

It is a souvenir of the visit of the American Fleet in 1908 - see right at the bottom of the page

It is shown in Carlisle Australian Historical Medallions as 1908/15 - as Silvered - Gilded  (does not mention colouring)  He gives a value of $20 for each. This might be a bit hopeful - if you search eBay for medal 1908 American fleet - in completed items you will find several others - different design but commemorating the same event. I am sure they would sell - souvenirs of the 1908 Great White Fleet visit are always popular.

I never thought or imagined that far back in time, maybe after WWII.

I shall read thoroughly now about the event.
