Hi all, am a newby here..this was my grandmothers, its quite large, old scale 12" across and 9" tall. I have been searching for the history over the last few days, Victorian?..German?...there are no stamps...although there is a number - 203..gold leaf doesnt really show up here...thanks for your help in advance - regards Kat

Well from 1 kat to another it may poss be Austrian & Victorian ๐
I have a Victorian Duchess set that is Austrian, similar to your piece.
What it could be ?:| poss a planter.

Ps,base photo's are a must,they may have nothing on them but they can still help with an Id.

That would be my guess too - Austrian / Bohemian 1880-1900, a planter. Have a look at completed item

while the decoration and quality is quite different, the shape is similar.

It could be French as there are a number here that are a similar type or shape:

Interesting!...on the other side are flowers....on the bottom is no mark, just the number 203...lots of gold gilding...have to go...will post more pics later...xxx
