Trying to identify Australian potter with the initials JC inside a map of Austrealia

hi, Could it be monogram TC -Terra Ceramics Australia. late 40s - late 1970s.

I can't actually distinguish a J looks more like a T to me.

No not Terra Ceramic.  I agree that it could be a J as it comes through the map outline. It fairly modern and probably fairly unknown.

Thank you everyone who has been looking at this.   It would seem it is a John Cuthbertson.   Not much further advanced, but it is a more modern piece it would seem.
