Cleaning out one of my fathers toolbox and found this pocket knife?
I am not sure what it is exactly. I think it to do with digging stones out horses hooves but I am no sure..
Any ideas.

My Dad always used his pocket knife to clean the hooves out.

These clasp knives had what was described as a marlin spike. It was designed as a multi purpose awl. It isn't officially a hoof pick but I have no doubt they are/were sometimes used as such.
The one pictured is pretty rusted so it isn't a great collector item if you were thinking of selling. There are a lot of them around.
