l give up.

l bought this from a garage sale this morning. The people running it said it was 'an old pressure cooker'.

Erm...

A by-stander said it was a champer pot with a lid.

Erm....

It's very heavy, two handed job to carry it. Branded with Hoffman Australia.

The metal handle slots into holes on the side so it's original.

There is spider crazing under the glaze.

We are not doing Christmas lunch, we are having a roast turkey dinner instead.  By the time we go out for drinkies, I for one don't really feel like lunch, more in favour of a sleep.  Last year I did the roast dinner and asked the neighbours, huge success, gunna try it again this year.  So pudding in the pot is a possibility - yar wanna cum eat with us??
