i had sold a parcel of 7 opal stones to a buyer, who after almost 4 weeks wants to return them because she said they were rubbish..sold for $233..anyway they got returned but when they arrived i opened the package to see only 5 opal stones in there..shocked and disgusted with what i saw i complained to ebay and they didnt even talk to me about the 2 missing stones and just gave the buyer a full refund including postage..case closed..now what do i do now...this is 100% disgusting..im the one with missing items..not the buyer..

I am very sorry this has happened to you. You would be better asking this question on the Selling Board where problems like this are regularly posted. As this is all done and dusted (according to eBay) there may be nothing that can be done but at least maybe someone there could give you advice about what to do in the case of future returns - like opening returned items in front of someone (Australia Post staff?) who would be prepared to sign a stat dec about the contents of the parcel, and taking pictures of the opening process. Things like this can be added to the Return Request in the Resolution Centre and have been known to influence eBay's decision in favour of the Seller. Good luck in the future - do not let one dishonest buyer spoil your eBay selling experience (obviously you have added them to your Barred Buyers List).
