i dont have a copy of the CC book, and on the site (Crown Crystal the early years) this shape is described as a 'salad ' (rosalin, diamond arches pattern) scroll down a bit http://www.ozcrowncrystal.com/period1.html
anyway here's the bowl or dish , it measures around 19cm .
is that the correct description ? i see it with trifle in it.. or is that just nostalgia ..

Hi,
According to my Crown Crystal book it is a No. 5324 8 1/2 inch square bowl, the pattern is Waratah. I can see it with a trifle, but be careful pouring in the hot custard, would also look good with a mixed green salad, actually it would best of all in my glass cabinet with the other Waratah patterned pieces.

You Know, if I had a bowl like that I would be very tempted to actually use it. Would look lovely with mixed salad greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cheese and olives, and chunks of cucumber. Yummo, now when did you say you were going to list it?

Wow, it looks like it could well be an OMG. Have it in the watch box but think it will be beyond my budget.
