Be very careful about buying anything on eBay now, because they just donโt care what is being sold, only profits.
.... and that's exactly the problem. You're trying to deter buyers by posting your opinion and attempting to pass it off as fact. It is NOT fact. Your opinion is actually quite the opposite.

Yes, I'm a seller, but I'm also a buyer who has purchased literally thousands of items on eBay. I have had my fair share of items not as described and items not received. In every last case I followed correct procedure and received a full refund. The process couldn't have been simpler, and no phone number was required - ever.... and that IS a fact.

Perhaps gdr37 - has a point.
The reason that the heater doesn't pass Australian Mandatory Safety Standards
and that these heaters are BANNED from selling in Australia,
In 2023 / 2024 eBay were notified of the ban by the ACCC and a clean sweep of the site was done, removing all the listings at the time.
Needless to say , eBay hasn't followed through with monitoring the banned items so they're still being sold on this site

Maybe we read things differently but it seems we're trying to determine the difference between "fact" and "opinion".
Here's my opinion on gdr37's posts, for what it's worth.
"EBay is full of scams and fraudulent items now
to make it more difficult to report and get an outcome to situations"
When a report of fraudulent item/s is sent, no reply from eBay or even worse, an AI reply is NOT a good outcome when the report is not acted upon.
And good luck to any newbie trying to report a listing now that the once very obvious "Report This Listing" link has been removed, as IMO, they'd probably have to ask here how to do it.
"If eBay was serious about fraudulent sellers, they would work closer with us to stop them"
Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of how the HH teams once operated, both here and in the US, would know the difference beteeen 'then' and 'now'.
It could have continued but like a lot of other things on this site, it was stopped and swept under the carpet, as if fraudulent listings don't exist.
"A newbie should see my post and run for the hills"
I reported recently about the hundreds of thousands of listings on hijacked Italian sellers' accounts.
I'll now add German sellers' accounts to the problem.
Hijacked and listed by Chinese scammers/ criminals, these items do exist but the usual lies about the item location being in Australia.
You may or may not receive your items from AliExpress and if neccessary, the MBG can be used.
BUT
For newbie buyers, remember that these items have NOT been listed by the real account holder.
The Chinese scammers have your details.
It beggars belief that with the low feedback hijacked accounts, some have received positive automated feedback from eBay.
Yes - positive feedback to scammers on a hijacked accounts !
It remains to be seen what will happen with the hijacked Australian accounts who have had their registration location changed to Brazil.
About 6 of the IDs have posted on the boards but I have a much longer list.
All reported - nothing done !
