It is now back to it's usual multi coloured incarnation which I prefer.

Ah countess, the "black and white version" can be easily experienced by using 2 pairs of polarised sunglasses.
Firstly settle yourself in a comfortable and secure position in front of your computer, laptop, tablet etc.
Then snap one in half (not the said computer, laptop etc) , then wear the other pair - now slowly turn the lens of each broken half in front of the one on the worn pair.
.......................and.................."drum roll".................Ta Da................a tunable "black and white version" of the internet.
