118 dead in terrorist attack in Nigeria

and all we get is a quick flash on the nightly news.

if this had of happened in the USA or Britian it would be all over the news for weeks

why is that?

boston marathon bombing, how many died? was 2 if I recall correctlly.

Its the same for those poor girls who have been kidnapped in Nygeria. They got hardly any coverage imo

but why doesn't it receive the same coverage, that it would if it happened somewhere else?

is it because it's a third world country and they are black?

Do western countries media outlets have foreign correspondents living in Nigeria to do the reporting from there?

This was in 2006 from Sth Africa

well there is obviously someone there. was footage

it has happened, and has been reported. for all of about 30 seconds on the news last night.

if it had of happened in the USA it would have been the lead story and taken up most of the news, and probably would have warrented a extended bulleitin.
