You seem to have missed the point of this story they didn't stuff up at all. The missing time syndrome is a phenomena reported by alien abductees worldwide.  There are many reports of people claiming to have been abducted and when returned a large amount of time lapses without the victim realising it. The missing time is an alien modus operandi (MO).  It is a signature.

Well if erasing 11 minutes of someone's memory is their form of communication, they can't have anything very important to tell us. Either that or they are  too dumb to be allowed out on their own.

Maybe some are too dumb to think outside the box?....or old.....

If memory is erased doesn't that say that they don't want us to remember what happened.

It might indeed - but the guy in the article said erasing his memory was the aliens way of communicating.What would be the point of communicating with somebody (telling them something) and then erasing their memory so they couldn't remember what you'd told them
