And here I am sitting with tears in my eyes. The first time in all the years that we missed the meeting. Missed out on seeing the Hawks again and meeting Lady Helen.
But --- I have caught a gastric bug and did not dare the 1½ hour drive without a loo nearby, and I did not want to spread my germs around in a closed spaces.
Even the monthley meetings of our tennants in the Retirement Village have been cancelled because of this bug running rampart in town.
Hopefully the next meeting will not be a year away again. Peter and I are so sorry we missed it. I am sure everyone had a wonderful and memorable time.
There is always next time Erica and besides I have a christmas parcel I want to send to you and Peter.
