Oh, it's probably not as bad as you think it is.

One of them will, doubtless, after a brief spell in the time out room, a bit of psychological counselling, attitude correction lessons and a few soothing and reassuring words from the empathetic judiciary, be out and about in almost no time, gloriously free to run down the steets again all joyous at feeling the wind in his hair.

I thought it was just two guys at it until I read a second time and saw it was a blow to the back of the head. A low and cowardly act.

I also so a link to an article on the Trump snort. Very interesting!

But it wasn't a blow from behind; it was a roundhouse sucker punch. a cowardly act, nonetheless.

This is happening all too often and I think it is a symptom of a particular facet of Australian "culture" which needs closer examination.

maybe it will be discovered the perpertrator has been using steroids and was drunk and has an undetected mental issue so he will get off.

meanwhile the victim will be villified as provoking the attack by being on the footpath.

You'd expect the perpetrator to be 18 not 38 years old.

Everyone knows the new laws about One Punch injuries or murder.

And in my eyes it is murder.

Disgusting the way he came back to throw abuse at the dieing man instead of trying to help and call an ambulance. How callous can some people be?

Only one life ruined, really: the aggro one's life was clearly already a miserable, stunted thing...

From the video, appears that Aggro may have made a quick remark as he passed the victim, the victim's responded, Aggro's come back and belted him.

Wonder if the "race card" will be played?

well, if you count all the victims family there are a lot of lives ruined. then there is the ones on our heroes side who get dragged into it too.

i just hope we dont see heroes supporters attacking people outside the court.

That's exactly what happened here nearly 4 years ago when a colleagues young bloke was clobbered when leaving a residential new years eve party. He went out the front to wait for a taxi and his attacker followed him out. Young bloke asked if he wanted to share the taxi and the scum thought he was hitting on him so clobbered him double fisted on the back of his head. When he hit the ground he laid the boot in.

Young bloke was flown to the city in a critical condition with massive head injuries, bleeding on the brain and was in an induced coma for 3 weeks after having brain surgery to remove the blood. His parents were told to prepare for the worst. As the weeks passed the pressure in his head was getting higher and higher, which was compressing his brain. One of the student nurses looking after him mentioned that he hadn't needed cleaning up for nearly 2 weeks, so they gave him some medicine through his feeding tube, which caused a back end explosion. Pressure in his head dropped to normal almost immediately.

His parents were told that they were surprised he was still alive and if he did wake up, he would have a severe permanent brain injury and would require round the clock care. They contemplated turning him off because they knew he wouldn't want to live like that. In the end they decided against it and after 3 weeks they woke him up. He looked around the room, looked at his parents, smiled and ask him mum for her chocolate cake (his favourite). He recognised all his family that were there and called them all by name.

Fast forward another 2 months and the only thing wrong is a slight droop on one side of his mouth. Brain completely intact and he's about the finish a 4 year apprenticeship.

When the first court case happened, the scum had all his family there and abuse was flying from them at the young bloke and his family. They were out for blood because it was their fault their "good boy" son/brother was in court and they were going to pay. They were cautioned by police and it made no difference. Both parents and one sibling ended up with charges, which fired them up even more.

Several court cases later he got 3 months and was out in 6 weeks. He used the excuse that he had mental health issues and he was drunk, which the pathetic local magistrate, fell for. We were surprised he got anything because that particular magistrate lets most people off without a conviction, regardless of the crime. The scum was also juiced up on roids and had been juicing up for a number of years in a big way.

Tom was one of the lucky ones. He could very easily have become an organ donor. Scum that do this should get a minimum of 10 years, regardless of whether the victim lives or dies. Makes me so angry when I hear stories of this happening again.

Justice is not justice in Australia and I don't think it has been fair for the longest time, punishment most certainly rarely fits the crime.

It always makes me laugh when before watching a DVD I see the warnings on copying, reselling, distribution, and the penalty can be as high as $50,000 fine or 5 years in prison. WOW

Who needs to copy a move, I'll just have my good time and go king hit some poor unsuspecting person on the street - cakewalk!
