Looking at it for my husband's 60th. Worth it or not?. It's on the Pacific Pearl. Has anyone done it recently?

No I haven't. Who are the comedians? Have you cruised before?
3 days cruising is not long enough for me but it's a good taster I guess.

Never done anything like this myself but it sounds like the kind of thing Mr Elephant would really enjoy.

Hi Rose, yes just a taster for OH. I've cruised before but he reckons seven days is too long so trying for the slow convert.
He's turning into a grumpy old **bleep**. 3 days long enough with a city stay either side

My bestie and I went on a 4-day comedy cruise a cpl years ago it was fun I can recommend it. There's lots to do. You just cruise up the coast as far as QLD then come back, it's fun-filled days.

Icy, you're in Sydney. Airport, one night stay, then board ship - is there a side of town to stay on or is the CBD okay?

Where is the ship leaving from, Teeny? White Bay or Circular Quay? If you stay Central CBD, either will be accesible. Try maybe Ibis Hotels, somewhere near Darling Harbour, maybe.

It sounds like a real fun idea to me. Perfect way to spend a birthday.

My OH used to say he wasn't old enough to cruise, used to think it was purely for retirees. So far been on 3 cruises and he isn't retired yet, 7 days is long enough for my hubby, he does enjoy them though.
