This is Labor, this is the NSW labor disease that has made its way into the federal party
See the story tonight Monday 11th March at 8.30pm on ABC1.
It will be well worth watching unless you are a luvie

He was a Labor powerbroker, a kingmaker with an uncanny ability to bend people to his will.
At the height of his power, Eddie Obeid could make and break Premiers.
Now he finds himself at the centre of explosive corruption allegations that threaten his future, his family and the party that delivered him power.
Next on Four Corners, reporter Marian Wilkinson charts Eddie Obeid's rise inside Labor's most powerful faction, the New South Wales right.
How did a Lebanese immigrant move from owning an ethnic newspaper business to become the most influential politician in the State?
Talking to Labor Party insiders - including senior political figures, staffers and public servants - Wilkinson examines the allegations made against Obeid and another former Labor minister, Ian Macdonald.
With forensic detail, Four Corners lays out the details and timeline of alleged corrupt behaviour, setting it against the political events of the same period.
The story reveals a party and a government being destroyed from within. It also makes it plain, as one former insider explains, that with Eddie Obeid flexing his power, the process of governing the State could be subverted for the benefit of a few.
"I formed the view when I left, that the Government was no longer acting in the public interest, it was acting in private interests, and if the public interest got a look-in it was purely by coincidence."
"The Enemy Within", reported by Marian Wilkinson and presented by Kerry O'Brien, goes to air on Monday 11th March at 8.30pm on ABC1. It is replayed on Tuesday 12th March at 11.35pm. It can also be seen on ABC News 24 on Saturday at 8.00pm, on ABC iview and at abc.net.au/4corners.

she didn't really deserve it. i mean if he actually shows up for a genuine interview (rather than s set-up puff piece with a 'friendly') how hard would it be to expose his fakery ? thats why he doesn't do interviews as a rule .. its too easy to see the empty headed policy -free zone that he is. maybe sales got the walkley for the simple fact that abbott turned up to an unscripted appearance .

Thats right, they embrace socialism when it aligns with populism.
Actually they align with the current Government of the day (not in all instances), if you youtube old episodes from the Howard years they seem to lean that way.
I'm sure when the Liberal party get in they will align that way and so fourth.
I like their news programs as opposed to say ACA or Today Tonight/ sunrise/today etc because they do not rely on informercials for products and revenue and they can report on everything (including the Labour Government in this case) wihtout fear of angering head office.
The commercial stations reporting on anything to do with say....Ausstereo or News ltd or channal 10 and Rhinehart will not be genuine because no person will do anything to make their boss look bad.
In the case of ABC, they just sat back and their bosses made themseleves look bad.
