That is how many emails I need to sort through and delete...
I would just do a blanket delete but last time I did that I did delete some important emails..
So.. a question...
I have windows 7 with Microsoft office 2007....
It is archiving almost 4000 emails to a place I can't seem to find..
If I do a search of all emails using common words I can usually find them and remove them but last time that took me forever...
I have automatic archiving off so I am not sure why it is doing this... following the help guide does me no good either...
anyone have any idea of what is going on and where to look for them and to stop it from happening again.

have you tried a search using the .pst extension?

I did not have a .pst file
I did not have automatic archives so it did not create the file...
but I fixed it now... I was only showing read emails 7 days old.

I meant have you tried to search for files with a .pst extension
I haven't got the other comp with me to find out how but thought if you do a search for all files that end with .pst it might find them.

I always record business phonecalls so I don't end up forgetting half the important stuff 😞
The only thing about doing that is that you have to remember to inform the person on the other end of the line that the call is being recorded before you start discussing details so they can opt for not continuing the discussion if they chose to.
I only found that little snippet of info out when someone congratulated me on my photographic memory recall ability and I admitted to them that I taped things like that so I could use the recording to refresh my poor memory skills at a later time.
That was when they told me I was required to tell the other party I was doing it by law.
Totally incorrect-by law, only YOU have to know the call is being recorded.

You have to notify the person at the beginning of the call so the have an opportunity to hang up, or request another line that won't be recorded

Not according to police & courts ie as long as one person is aware call is being recorded, the recording is admissible in a court of law & will be taken into consideration re evidence.
Anyway,as you were re removal of emails lol

Recordings without permission are only allowed if they are to prove a crime, is my understanding.
