Harris will serve half of that time and be released on licence.

The judge notes if most of the offences happened today, they would attract significantly higher maximum sentences.

I think hes blown his chance to top himself. all eyes will be on him inside. I thought he would have done it before the sentencing.

What a lame sentence for decades of abusing people. and he will only do 2 and 1/2 or so.

That's British justice for you. The perpetrator gets a miserable 30 months behind bars while their victims suffer for the rest of their lives. 😞

"The British Attorney General is looking at this case re the leniency of the sentence. He may have his sentence increased."

Putting it in context:

"However, UK attorney-general Dominic Grieve has been called on to consider whether the sentence is too lenient and a review is necessary."

"The attorney-general's office will not say who made the unduly lenient referral, but says it only takes one member of the public to do so."

I would think there would be more than "one"
