At lunch with my friend and colleague today we were discussing how the F word has become an integral part of the conversation for some of our other female colleagues. It's just not nice. Ok I understand golly gosh just isn't good enough sometimes, but geez, keep it for your private or most frustrated moments.
Our male colleagues wouldn't dream of using such language.
Please ladies. Equality doesn't meant lowering yourself.

Iv noticed it has become a really common thing now.I work with one girl who uses it about 5 times a day and im expecting a complaint any time from a customer .
If you travel on public transport with school kids they are awfully foul mouthed and seem to know no better...

I see it as just a word. No better or worse than any other expletive, unless used to attack others but I seen more vicious attacks on people without any expletives being used.

This debasement can be attributed to the movies and other so called entertainment mediums.
It is a social problem of abject apathy towards "decorum" as Icy has stated.
Accepting the unacceptable just leads to the boundaries being pushed harder and harder until there is utter chaos. By that time it becomes hard to reel in , especially when everyone puts in the too hard basket.
It just highlights a persons lack of an adequate vocabulary.
It was very evident when I spent some time in the US and that was quite a while ago I shudder to think what it is like now.
Perhaps it is being taught in kinder by now. maybe that is why it is coupled with the word "mother' so often.
