ADELAIDE will be the hottest city in the world today, according to a global forecast by the United Nations.
Gathering official predictions from around the globe, the UN's World Meteorological Organisation estimated Adelaide's 46C would not be topped in any major population centre.

Yes it is still dry heat and I am greatful for that, the swampie works well with dry heat.

You are lucky then Hawk................maybe I should move back to my home town, I am sure the dry heat would be better for my asthma.
Keep cool today..........Melbourne had 46deg on Black Saturday 2009 and it was dreadful.

I remember that day. We had aircon then but the inside temp was still in the 30's. Birds fell out of the trees and our garden literally shrivelled before our eyes.
Purple I have my trusty ventolin with me. When the temp suddenly drops I tend to have a mild asthma attack.
