I just wonder why he has to say what he did. I can understand him being proud etc but there is a time and place for everything. Same as he plugs his book at every opportunity.
they are as he has said 'His greatest asset'.
Perhaps political strategy ? .
Hid daughters being with him (especially considering the past issues ) may be meant to relieve any thoughts of him having any problem with women (he has mentioned them and the fact that they love him in the past as evidence that he can't have a problem with women)
and the not bad looking daughters may (in some people's minds ) appeal on a different level?
Some strategies don't always come off as they are meant to ..not even with those targeted .
It kind of looked to me as though he thought his audience was stupid
Meep, good to see that info .It's a worry when we have some Australians saying stupid things like that they will vote for Tony Abbott ..on the basis of his daughters ..."he must be OK and doing something right and those young women are proof of that"
(crazy you'd think ?) Those young women are also their own independent success stories ..

People choose to vote for certain people based on very odd reasons a lot of the time.
My vote was based on the candidates in my electorate and their track record for what they havedone and do, in their local electorate. It is of no consequence to me which party they belong to.
