I appreciate the fact that some people 'like' him
Seriously though, what is he going to come out with next?
Aren't you even slightly concerned?

totally agree.
whoever gets in is going to have make up that $70 bn shortfall and it ain't going to be pleasant for Joe Citizen
The economy of Australia is one of the largest capitalist economies in the world with a GDP of US$1.57 trillion. Australia's total wealth is 6.4 trillion dollars. In 2011, it was the 13th largest national economy by nominal GDP and the 17th-largest measured by PPP adjusted GDP, about 1.7% of the world economy. Australia is the 19th-largest importer and 19th-largest exporter.
Our deficit is small comparing to our GDP, that is why those who understand economics are not worried, that is why Australia has an AAA rating from 3 agencies. It is like a small loan that you get if there is some emergency in your life; it is like if you borrow a sum that is about 10% of your income. Sure, it would be great if we could pay for all those important things like health and education, and upgrades/upkeep of infrastructure without borrowing. But cutting severely will only result in more unemployed, people having less to spend, and less tax coming to the government, which in turn means less money available for all the important things we need like healthcare and transport.
I guess those people who think we need austerity measures to pay back the debt do not have a mortgage, and if they have some one of big outlay they stop heating and eating rather than borrowing some money to get through.

Next time an LNP member or journalist drops the “Abbott volunteers for weeks in Indigenous communities” line, call bleep and then refer them to the figures. Three days and nearly $45000 in flights alone…, if that’s volunteering the rest of us are really doing it all wrong. Many of us, some one million odd Australians, do volunteer every year for community organisations, they slog their guts out, donate large amounts of money and never even ask for a thank you. The audacity of this public lie should be even more shocking when we remember that Indigenous life expectancy is at third world levels and Mr Abbott is racking up huge bills to do nothing about it while claiming credit for work he simply doesn’t do!

I am extremely concerned at the ridiculous reporting that the media is doing. What happened to proper journalism and current affairs reporting?
Do we really want to know that Rudd's son had a cigar in his mouth? Do we really want to know what Abbott thinks about female pollies?
Get back to the economy and the other issues that we need to work on.

I am very very concerned, if the lnp get in, it will be the ruin of us. abbots plans are austerity....they will impose restrictions on everything, This might be ok for some, but there are many many people out there who cannot lose any more than they already have. So many will be further disadvantaged. The elderly, the unemploy
ed, pensioners, retirees....many will suffer
I am also scared of what they will do tomour wonderful country

Let me remind you of this
The latest odds for you to digest
Coalition 1.15 1.15 1.13
Labor 5.5 5.5 6
Sucks to be a Labor voter

Got a letter from Tony Abbott today, he says here is 'Our Plan'. Pity he didn't say how to find out more information on how the LNP are going to achieve the things listed in the plan.
