I am waiting for this parcel, and it seems to be having lots of fun on the way from Bennington, NH from where it was posted 8thJune. It went on scenic route around the USA, then went to Sydney NSW, back to Chicago, then to Japan and I wonder where is it heading from Sydney, as the borders to VIC are closed :(:

They are now saying that although the virus can survive on surfaces, the mode of transmission is by breathing it in. If you have it on your hands and lick your fingers it will go into your stomach, and there it gets destroyed by the acidic environment. So I would not stress too much. But if you want to make sure just pop your parcel in ziplock bag and leave it for few days.

I have to say just before the virus I bought some shoes from China when they finally arrived I sanitised the parcel then had second thoughs, so picked the parcel up with tongs and throw it in the rubbish LOL Then put the tongs in the dish washer
As a shoes lover this was hard, did not even try them on 🙂

8 or 9 days from the States for my "cheer up the pandemic will not last for ever gift to myself", to be delivered locally by courier - like the early days of international purchases
I wiped the exterior surfaces of the unopened package with anti-bacterial wipes and left for a time in sunshine
