Advice No. 1: How to get stains out of white sheets?

They are all my beautiful old vintage cotton and linen Italian sheets. And I want them crisp and perfectly white without yucky looking stains.

I have tried bleaching them and left them in the sun for days but still nothing.

(I am sure you can guess the stains I mean)

But so many bed stains are unmentionable!

I'll just mention a few here:

Nose bleeds

Drool

Vomy

Snot

Coffee/tea/strawberry sauce

Squished spidey

Leaves and twigs

The monthlies

The wet patch

Sweat

Skid marks

Peepee

Nah, not necessarily.  Some people have a complex about dribbling...

I have bright yellow stains on most of my tea towels. Ever since my son moved in X-(

He adds curry to everything!
