They are all my beautiful old vintage cotton and linen Italian sheets. And I want them crisp and perfectly white without yucky looking stains.
I have tried bleaching them and left them in the sun for days but still nothing.
(I am sure you can guess the stains I mean)

Lol!
I think you can guess what they look like - big yellow globs. They are located all over the place. :8}

Try ringing a hotel and asking them for the Housekeeping department and ask them what they do......
I find if I leave anything in Napisan long enough it comes out white LOL
leave em in for 2 weeks and see how it goes LOL

Once the stains are well and truly set you might be stuck with them. Linen can take the highest washing temperature. When I was preparing vintage linen things I used to make a napisan paste and then I would leave it on for a while and then run boiling water through the stain or actually boil them in a saucepan on the stove top. Sometimes with good results and sometimes not. Maybe you need one of those old fasioned boilers for your sheets.
I wonder where hotels have their sheets laundered. They might be able to help you.

Might give that a go. I only soaked them in napisan infused water so perhaps it was just too diluted.

Although I did soak them with bleach directly and that didn't seem to work.
Anyways, will give the napisan paste a go.

have you tried vanish preen oxy action ????

I have had great success with a combination of sard and napisan. I scrub the stain directly with the sard soap and then soak in a strong solution of powdered napisan with very hot water.
Hope this helps ๐

I used to hit my white chef jackets, aprons and cloths with a pre wash stain remover let that soak in for a while and then dump em in a bucket of napisan for up to 2 weeks. But that was with fresh stains........
Came up white every time.
Sent em all to a Dry Cleaners once - they came back clean but still heavily stained - sent that batch to my mum to fix - LOL - but there's no way I'm gonna ask her how to get c stains out of sheets ROFL
