Almost 300 children aged 11 and under and 6,500 older teenagers were admitted to UK hospitals last year as a result of alcohol.
While public health bodies say that fewer children are drinking overall, those who drink appear to be doing so to dangerous levels.
In Australia, one person aged 14-17 dies every week from alcohol-related harm, which includes overdosing, accidents and drownings.

Yes they do.
Too much is readily available to them IMO. More children are left home alone for longer periods of time.
