Before Labor came in Howard had the unemployment rate here at 3.5% and youth unemployment was not much higher... 

I blame Labor for this situation because I have spoken to business owners that say they have stopped employing.. business is slow, costs have increased and they don't have stability under Labor.

You mentioned the youth unemployment rate, and so did I.  I was living there then, and the YOUTH unemployment rate was approximately 25%.
