Earlier I watched Titanic for about the 20th time. There are three things in the movie that always annoy me.
1. Had the lookouts not been gawking at Rose and Jack, they may have seen the iceberg earlier and hitting it may have been prevented.
2. Rose says, "I'll never let go", and then she lets go.
3. At the end she just tosses the diamond into the ocean.
I consider myself a romantic and understand the intended sentiment in the scenes, but I always get annoyed. Does anyone else react the same way, or is it just me?

As for Titanic, who would throw that diamond overboard in real life?? It's all Hollywood. In most of the films, if people acted logically, then there would be no film, or it would come to a very quick end. We have a laugh at it all, and realize it is just entertainment after all. If things annoy you so much, why bother to watch?
Well the three scenes I referred to lasted only a few minutes. The rest of the movie was great IMO. Besides, it doesn't annoy me "so much", it more iks or peeves me. Same as those Americans who can jump through glass windows or kick down a door without getting as much as a scratch. I guess some tongue in cheek is needed or else it wouldn't be entertainment, as you say.

If you're going to go into that -
20+ shot six-shooters.
I suspend disbelief with those.
Handguns are notoriously inaccurate, so nobody getting hit is not that farfetched.

Goodness - I just love John Wick.

I always giggle when someone is riddled with shots from say an AK47 and then someone will go up to them and ask "Is s/he dead?" It happens so often.
Then when there is a violent hand fight with the bodies smashing into things and a hundred full face punches. Later the hero will wear a 5cm bandaid and have not another mark. It always happens with Jack Reacher who in real life would be in hospital in traction.
But hey .... it's entertainment, I'm not complaining.

My pet hate for errors is from the kids' scifi series New Captain Scarlet - a really bad CGI attempt to 'improve' on the original 1967 puppet series.
Something they were tracking came down in Australia - the lieutenant said it landed 'somewhere in the northern territories'. Huh?
Same lieutennt was described as the Colonel's XO. XO in military parlance is short for Executive Officer, generally second in command of a ship or base. No junior Leut would hold that position - the script writers probably meant maybe an executive or personal assistant.
The leader of the Angels flight was as soppy as a wet week and in real life she would have no hope of commanding the respect of her peers. She came across as completely spineless and miserable most of the time.
There were other examples but basically, overall NCS was just plain awful.

Many movies they are using machine guns and still no-one gets hit.
