And the shocking one in Istanbul airport. 38 dead, many hurt.
Apparently 3 suicide bombers but one was shot just before he detonated his vest.

Edit - Just reading the one in Perth, that appears to be a hate crime against an Islamic mosque.

This is dreadful and so senseless.
Most likely incited youg idiots of Turkish heritage wanting to retaliate. That was my first thought after reading what happened in Turkey.
Such a sad world we live in.

i assumed the OP was about the
latest terror attack in europe...
At least 36 people are feared to have been killed and dozens injured in an apparent terror attack at Turkey's biggest airport, officials have claimed.
Three suicide bombers detonated their explosives at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul after police fired shots at them, it's reported.
At least 147 people are believed to have been injured while hero taxi drivers ferried wounded people from the terminal.

So what, in your opinion, are the criteria necessary for the detonation a car bomb in a public place to be described as a terrorist attack?
Does it depend on;
The number of people killed?
The motive of the perpetrator?
The religion of the perpetator?
The political bias of the perpetrtor?
The religion, social status, or political beliefs of theintended victims?
All of the above?
Some of the above?
None of the above?
